About this compound
KPV is a synthetic tripeptide (lysine–proline–valine) corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of the alpha-MSH peptide. It is supplied by PX-Labs as a lyophilized powder for laboratory research use only.
KPV is a short three–amino acid peptide derived from the terminal sequence of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). Its small, well-defined structure makes it a subject of interest in peptide research, including studies of small-fragment peptides.
In its lyophilized form, KPV is generally stored refrigerated and protected from light and moisture, with freezer storage common for longer-term holding. Standard laboratory handling practices apply.
